Our process

Plan. Design. Build. Deliver.

The same four steps on every home, so you always know what happens next.

01

Plan

Start with the land. We walk the property with you, look at sun, slope, septic and setbacks, and put real numbers on your budget before anyone draws a line.

  • Site visit and feasibility check
  • Budget range with allowances spelled out
  • Permitting and shoreland review
02

Design

Truly custom design. Our in-house designer works through the floor plan, exterior, kitchen and finishes with you, so you can see the house before we break ground.

  • Floor plans and exterior elevations
  • Kitchen, bath and finish selections
  • Fixed-price proposal before you commit
03

Build

One crew, one schedule. Our own carpenters frame, trim and finish every home. You get a shared schedule, a weekly update and one person to call.

  • In-house framing and finish carpentry
  • Shared online schedule and weekly updates
  • Site cleaned up every Friday
04

Deliver

We stand behind it. A walkthrough before closing, a punch list we finish fast, and a full year of warranty visits after you move in.

  • Final walkthrough and punch list
  • Owner’s manual for every system
  • Warranty visits at 30 days and 11 months

Questions we hear a lot

How long does a custom home take?

Most homes take 10 to 14 months from signed contract to keys, depending on size and site work. We give you a schedule before we start.

Do you help find land?

Yes. We walk lots with buyers and flag septic, ledge, access and shoreland issues before you make an offer.

Can we bring our own architect?

Of course. We build from outside plans often, and our designer can also take a concept all the way to permit drawings.

How do allowances work?

Your proposal lists every allowance, like tile, lighting and appliances, so you know exactly what is included and where you can choose.
